Farming Park in community
Fruit, Flowers and vegetables---- Some community members contribute each specialty and distinctive characteristics with self-motivation. Some ones like cutting the grasses there and so the farming park is kept maintaining unnoticed.
A team hopes to encourage parents and children in the child-raising years. And then the team plans holding events throughout a year, like planting the seeds of corns, sweet potatoes and some other vegetables, growing, harvesting and eating them in the park.
Suzuka Satoyama Woodland
This is a project which has started from borrowing abandoned forest in neighborhood. Some persons said, "I like staying in Satoyama woodland." Some volunteers want to build secret bases in trees." And they began maintaining, like mowing the undergrowth, hanging a swing from branches of forest wood. And finally children can play enough in the forest and then the event for parents and children has become active.
Narrow paths in the forest give enough pleasure for pleasure to step on the fallen leaves and soils with bare feet. Cultivation of mushroom has been developed.
We could contact with a master of charcoal-kiln building in 2012 and then set up the one completely there10 2013. With the cooperation of city government, the new team has been established to harvest logs for charcoal making, from the other abandoned ones around city.
Elderly group: The Party to Talk on Ideal Livings
How will we mature and pass away in our old age?
Elderly volunteers have established "The Party to Talk on Ideal Livings". They are active working to build neighborhoods that a person can get matured as true self; in where people can live as they are.

Even if physical condition are beyond control, any one has desire to "live out their happy life until last breath", hasn't he?
To consider about old age and death is to find how we live every moment. We wish we could talk about aging and parting in the daily life more cheerfully and pleasantly, That is our aim.
Transition-Town Suzuka
There is a group of Transition Town movement in Suzuka Community, called Transition Suzuka, linking with the domestic and international movement.
As an citizen's organization, Transition Town Suzuka aims at the sustainable city, performing some projects like Community Farming Park and Suzuka Satoyama Woodland.
